Recipe: The Best Breakfast Ever

I LOVE breakfast, I cannot say that enough. I don’t understand how I went so many years without eating breakfast. It was no coincidence that the years I didn’t eat breakfast were the years that I was at my heaviest. I don’t know why I thought that skipping early meals and stuffing myself at dinner would make me thinner. I am so glad that I eventually found my way. Over the past month or so I have really been upping my vegetables and fruits. I am finding that I can be quite satisfied consuming a diet of 90% fruits and vegetables the rest grains. Additionally, I have been trying to eat mostly raw. I have been quite creative with my meals lately; but I am so happy! The food I have been making is beyond delicious and my skin has this crazy glow to it more than I had before.

So, the other day I came up with a quick and simple breakfast recipe that is OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious and I wanted to share with you:

Raw oats and fruit

1 ½ tablespoon of Honey

¼ tablespoon of Sea salt

3 fresh Strawberries

1/3 Mango (you can substitute a banana for the mango)

½ cup of Organic quick oats

-Chop up your mango and strawberries

-Mix with the quick oats

-Add your salt and honey and stir

-You can eat it right away or store over night to soften the oats

I hope that you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. This is by far my favorite breakfast to date and I can make it the night before.

Happy Eating!

This looks sooo good! It reminds me of the cereal that they made in the documentary that followed "Forks Over Knives". For the cereal he used old-fashioned oats, ezekial brand grape-nuts, shredded wheat, Uncle Sam Cereal, and ground flaxseed meal. However, he DID NOT use the wonderful additions that you listed here. I will certainly be trying with the honey, salt, and fruit added.

Thanks!
